When?

Feminist camp happens only a few times a year. The next sessions of Feminist Camp are

NYC: June 5-9
SEATTLE: SUMMER 2017
ZAMBIA: JUNE 17-29, 2017
SEATTLE: NOVEMBER 2017

To say the program was impactful does not begin to capture the infusion of energy, inspiration, and renewed commitment to the cause that my time with such inspiring feminists gave me.
Hearing everyone’s journey to feminism was particularly enlightening, especially regarding how families, friends, schools, and communities received our views and work. Most of us still keep in touch and support one another from wherever life brings us.

Where?

Feminist Camp is different every time and takes place all over the community. Here's a small sampling of some places and people we’ve met with in the past: The Alan Guttmacher Institute, Babeland, Bluestockings, BUST Magazine, Choices in Childbirth, Choices Medical Clinic, Journalist Lynn Povich, The Doula Project, Girls for Gender Equity, Gloria Steinem, Sadie Nash Leadership Project, The Feminist Press, International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Coalition, The Museum of Sex, National Advocates For Pregnant Women, Shelby Knox, Rabbis for Human Rights, REVEAL Conference, The Sackler Center for Feminist Art, The Sex Workers Project, the Third Wave Foundation, The Women’s Media Center, and The Daily Muse.

Who?

Feminist Camp is open to all who are interested in learning more about transforming feminist theory into practice. It is especially recommended for upperclass undergrads and recently-graduated individuals. We’ve hosted students of all genders, races, religions, nationalities and ages. We’re committed to accessibility and will make appropriate accommodations for anyone interested in the program.
